JOB TITLE: Production Scheduler
REPORTS TO: Production Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Scheduler coordinates project start dates, material deliveries, and appointments. Their main duties include planning schedules, determining project lengths, and making and returning phone calls to customers regarding their project or meeting times. Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of jobs through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of work orders to achieve both internal financial and job timeliness goals.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Production Scheduler will serve as the coordinator for schedules and appointments for customers, field crews (including sub crews), and members of the Production and Sales departments
Show professionalism and have the ability to manage multiple calls and emails
Be able to determine the priority of customers’ needs to determine when an immediate slot should be found or if their project could be based on the current schedule
Maintain and keep Job Board up to date consistently
o Including any new projects that come in
Ensure field crews are uploading daily and final job pictures
Can adjust on the fly with weather delays, people out sick, or any other type of changes that may affect the schedule
Manage/expedite projects and materials to ensure schedules are achieved
Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages
Excellent communication skills
Proficient use of computer systems and software applications
o Microsoft Office
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Keep track of permit status throughout the project

WORKING CONDITIONS:
For the most part, the Production Scheduler conducts their work in-house, in an office context, but they may also visit jobsites for in-person assessments. Sometimes, the Production Scheduler will personally meet with customers and field crews to ensure jobs are completed in the most efficient and timely manner as possible that holds up to the customer’s and Krumm Exteriors, LLC’s standards.

What purchasers buy could include finished products, production materials, office and warehouse supplies, tools, and equipment for field crews. Their duties include price evaluations, market assessments, product ordering, record keeping and tracking of inbound orders. The Purchaser is responsible for negotiating with suppliers and sellers of the assorted products and services that the organization needs. They also need to coordinate the logistics of having them delivered and paid for.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality, and logistical expenses
Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer and material requests
Coordinating with outside vendors to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services
Work with the Accounting Department and Production Manager to authorize payments and manage purchasing expenses
Monitor purchasing expenses and keep track of accounts and inventory to know when and how much to purchase of certain materials

JOB TITLE: Exterior Remodeling Specialist (Sales)
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
As the first point of face to face contact with the potential customer, you will listen to their needs and come up with a solution that fits within their scope of work. As an expert you have the opportunity to suggest other solutions that they may not have considered, and promote upgraded products that Krumm offers. You will also be in charge of all follow through once the appointment has been completed.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for meeting with prospective customers for the purpose of selling work to be performed by Company, provide customer with product samples and information as part of the selling process;
Responsible for taking photos and measurements of all jobs, provides job quotes to customer either at time of meeting or at a later prearranged date and make arrangements for collection of down payment for agreed upon work;
Responsible for arranging and participating in pre-job walk around with Production Manager, job supervisor and customer;
Create draft order in Acculynx system and maintain the file through necessary input of data through the creation of an associated production packet/documents to include pictures, labor notes, diagrams, materials and any special instructions;
Responsible for maintaining customer contact through the period prior to work commencing;
Work as liaison with insurance companies in the event a job is related to an insurance claim;
Responsible for performing all activities in a safe manner;
Other related duties that may be assigned from time-to-time.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The Exterior Remodeling Specialist must have a minimum of high school diploma with additional schooling preferred. Previous outside sales experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft tools like Excel & Word. An outgoing personality with effective oral and written communication skills required. A clean driving record is an essential qualification for this position. Ability to work with little supervision and multi-task. Eagerness to learn product specifications, and apply that knowledge to everyday situations with customers is essential to this position. Construction knowledge preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The working environment for the Sales Consultant is approximately 20% office and 80% field work during prime installation season which is March through November. During non-prime installation season work is conducted primarily in an office environment.in all weather conditions. There is walking, sitting, climbing and lifting 25-30 pounds involved in this position.
Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and job schedules. They facilitate the delivery of products to vendors and jobsites. They coordinate company operations and complete workflows in order according to the job schedule. The Warehouse Coordinator accepts orders, enters them into the warehouse database, and keeps track of how much of each type of item or material they have in stock. They operate picking and lifting machines according to safety regulations and keep aisles clear and free of debris to make it easy to access shelves and pallets.
Primary Functions/Responsibilities:
Staging materials for crews
Organizing incoming stock
Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
Receiving and documenting materials for returns
Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled
Managing all merchandise with appropriate care
Delivering materials to jobsites when needed
Picking up materials from vendors
Position Qualifications:
Prior experience working in a warehouse or a similar role
Knowledge of operating a forklift
Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 75 pounds
Ability to work independently and safely
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must be insurable to drive company vehicles
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Able to get a DOT Medical Card
Drive a truck and trailer
Working Conditions:
The working environment for the Warehouse Coordinator is a hybrid of being inside and outside in all types of weather conditions.
Qualifications you bring:
3+ years sales experience in construction industry preferred.
Required to have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
Required to have High School Diploma or GED
Post-secondary degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field is preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal time management skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Specifically Word & Excel)
Job may require some weekends or evening work.
May require some travel for training and seminars.
Previous experience estimating Windows and Siding preferred.
